His idea to "Try Something New for 30 Days" was inspirational and it encouraged me to begin thinking about ways that I could start to experience life through a different and even more appreciative lens. Kathryn, Dana and I began discussing ideas for following through with one of these "Challenges" and the idea of this blog was born.
In addition to just completing these really radical monthly "Challenges", I believe that this project will help to promote the following:
1) An increase in daily awareness
2) A focus on and appreciation of life's simple wonders
3) Personal growth in the area of commitment
4) Formation of good habits / Elimination of bad habits
5) Social relationships that serve as an audience as well as a support
So, we began developing an initial list of challenge ideas (the list is awesome) and decided that we will start off our first "30-Day Challenge" on Monday, August 1, 2011. The Challenge, you ask?
Challenge 1: Take a Photo a Day (August 2011)
